Tenerife review

Tenerife was not the best competition for me. Too much other stuff going on and no free mind. Sarah Quita sailed well and put me down to 5th place. I´m a bit sad, because Tenerife is somehow my spot with nice waves, but on that day I had the lowest score ever for the waves and even Iballa asked me on the beach: „What happened to your wavesailing today?“……. as I said too much things in my head. Well, that´s life sometimes! I kept my 3rd place overall, because Sarah Quita finished 3rd place ..wohoo..!! Shaka attack. Like it. If she practices more she will be even better! Let´s keep fingers crossed for Sylt and bring on the northsea shorebreak!

Christian Tillmanns did an awesome media job and placed windsurfing in a lot of TV channels. Really cool work.

But besides competiton it was very nice. We had the honour to sleep in a luxury hotel down south, the „Sheraton La Caleta“. I must admit that it was a really cool stay, even with all the driving. It was worth it. Nice food, it was very calm, the pool was great. We even found the time to go to the Spa and had dinner with the frenchies. New people with different thinkings. Thanks to the boys for beeing real gentlemen!
